Traffic citation records in Washington County are split by court. The Washington County Circuit Court Traffic / Violations Bureau handles traffic violations cited to Circuit Court. The Bureau was established under ORS 153.800 and allows a clerk to take Guilty, No Contest, or Not Guilty pleas for violations that do not require a judge. The Washington County Justice Court handles most violations of the State Motor Vehicle Code, certain misdemeanor offenses, TriMet, boating, dog, and other violations. Municipal courts may hold city citation records.
For Circuit Court payments, Oregon Judicial Department ePay lets users search by account number, case number, or citation number. ePay is a payment tool and enters a no contest plea on the user's behalf when used for an eligible traffic violation. Washington County Traffic Courts
Washington County's traffic system is not one single traffic court. Circuit Court traffic cases are handled through the Law Enforcement Center Traffic Department. Justice Court, located in Beaverton, handles most State Motor Vehicle Code violations and certain misdemeanors. City municipal courts may handle local code, parking, and city-issued traffic matters. Justice Court uses phone, in-person, written plea, and payment channels. DMV record requests use driver identity fields and are separate from the court case lookup.

Washington County Traffic Records Show
A Washington County traffic court record is a court case or violation file. It can show a citation number, charge, plea, hearing or trial date, fine, payment, default judgment, license suspension notice, and final judgment. The court record is useful for proving what happened in the traffic case. It is not the same as a DMV driving record, which compiles driver history and license status.

Pay Washington County Traffic Tickets
For Circuit Court traffic violations, a person may appear in person at the Violations Unit in the Law Enforcement Center, appear by mail by entering no contest on the ticket and mailing the full fine so it arrives by the appearance date, appear by phone by calling the court and paying the full fine if pleading no contest, or pay online through ePay. Washington County Traffic Court is held Monday through Friday at 1:00 p.m. A clerk may consider reducing a fine after reviewing the driving record when the matter qualifies.
Some violations cannot be handled by no-contest phone payment. The exclusions include speed racing, careless driving, altered vehicle identification number, failure to present license as a misdemeanor, violations committed by a corporation, any person the violations bureau believes should appear before a judge, any misdemeanor or felony traffic offense, any traffic offense involving personal injury or accident, and any alcohol-related offense including open container. Failure to appear or pay can lead to default judgment, added fees, and license suspension.
Important: OJD ePay enters a no contest plea for eligible traffic violations and charges a $1.50 processing fee per transaction.
Washington County Justice Traffic
Justice Court traffic arraignments are held Monday through Thursday at 9:00 a.m., with Spanish arraignments Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. A one-week extension from the original appearance date is automatic. Emails and faxes do not count as appearances. Written pleas are accepted with the full presumptive fine and a letter. A not guilty plea by mail leads to a hearing with the officer present.
Justice Court accepts cash, money order, check except on past-due accounts, Visa, Discover, and Mastercard. Credit card payments can be made by phone during business hours. Clerks may reduce fines based on the past three-year driving record, but reductions are made only at the time of payment. Payment plans longer than two weeks require an in-person appearance and are subject to a $25 fee.
Washington County Traffic Access Law
Traffic court records are court records when they are filed in Circuit Court, Justice Court, or municipal court. Oregon's court-register statute, ORS 7.020, governs the register where actions, filings, hearings, judgments, and other case events are recorded. Oregon public-records law, ORS 192.311 to 192.478, sets the broader public-body records framework and permits fees for making records available.
ORS 153.800 authorizes violations bureaus, and Washington County Circuit Court uses that authority for traffic violations that do not require a judge. Juvenile, sealed, set-aside, and restricted matters may be withheld. Oregon's set-aside law, ORS 137.225, can apply to eligible arrests, citations, charges, and convictions, but traffic-specific eligibility depends on the record and statute.

Oregon DMV Traffic Records
Oregon DMV says anyone ordering records must qualify under ORS 802.175 to 802.191 or the request will be denied and payment returned. DMV Form 735-7266 lists several record options. A Certified Court Print costs $3.00 and includes convictions for major traffic offenses, commercial driver license entries, diversion agreements, and alcohol rehabilitation entries for at least ten years, plus minor offenses and accidents for at least five years.

DMV2U Driver Record Requests
DMV2U is an official Oregon DMV online service entry point. It can route eligible users to driver-record requests, but the request is based on DMV rules, not the court's case-file rules. A DMV record may be useful after a Washington County traffic case if a person needs to verify license status, commercial driver entries, diversion, accidents, convictions, or suspension history.
Use the court first when the question is whether a ticket was paid, contested, dismissed, defaulted, or reduced. Use DMV when the question is what appears on the Oregon driving record. If the court record and DMV record do not match, correct the error with the agency that holds the wrong record.

Washington County DUI CDL Records
Alcohol-related traffic offenses are not handled as simple no-contest phone matters on the Circuit Court traffic page. The no-contest by telephone exclusions include any alcohol-related offense, including open container. Misdemeanor or felony traffic offenses, traffic offenses involving personal injury or accident, and matters the violations bureau believes should go before a judge also require a different route. DUI and other criminal traffic cases may need the Washington County criminal court records path for full case details.
Commercial driver records can have separate DMV consequences. The DMV Certified Court Print includes commercial driver license entries, and DMV record options should be used when employment, CDL status, or state driving history is the issue. Sealed or set-aside traffic records follow Oregon law and court orders. A court disposition may still need separate DMV correction if the state driver record shows a stale or wrong entry.
